About Gerakia
Gerakia is an organisation management platform that gives community leaders, NGOs and student societies a simple way to structure and manage their organisations.
The name
Gerakia comes from gerak, the Malay word for movement. A movement is people moving together with a shared purpose, which is what every community, NGO and student society is at its best. Gerakia exists to give that movement a structure it can keep, so it outlasts any one leader or committee.
What it does
Most organisations that bring people together are run from group chats, spreadsheets and shared drives. That works until the organisation grows, a leader leaves, or a new member asks how things fit together.
Gerakia gives your organisation a simple structure for managing groups, people and activities. An organisation is made of groups. Groups have members and leaders. Activities and documents belong to the group doing the work. That structure stays with the organisation, not with whoever set it up.
